SAP HANA is a super-fast, in-memory database that powers many SAP-developed and customer-developed applications. Within the database sits a powerful data processing layer that takes raw data from the database and turns it in to information by combining it, cleaning it, enriching it, aggregating and calculating. We use a combination of graphical and text-based tools to develop special SAP HANA data processing objects called Flowgraphs and Calculation Views.
