This is a demo for the SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2208 Release for Asset Management. Now we have enabled material searches for maintenance plannersthrough external catalogs with the Open Catalog Interface. If anexternal catalog has been connected to your system using the Open CatalogInterface, you can call up these catalogs directly from a maintenanceorder and copy components and services from the catalog to the order. Thissimplifies the planning because certain fields are filled automatically withpurchasing details from the catalog, for example price information, the catalogID, and supplier details.
